Research projects under Ibrahim Medical College
Ibrahim Medical College has an active Research Cell and has a yearly allocation of Tk. 2.5 million for research. The fund is distributed to the researchers on a competitive basis. Below are a few ongoing research projects:
1. Epidemiology and improved detection of Burkholderia pseudomallei in human and environment.
2. Effect of oxytocin on psychosocial behaviour of adolescents.
3. Infection and immunity related to prevalent microbes namely Helicobacter, Coronavirus, Candida, Mycobacterium tuberculosis,
4. Effect of mustard oil consumption on thrombocytopenia.
